RETURN AND REFUND POLICIES

General Return Policy

We offer a 14-day return period for most items, starting from the date you receive your order. To be eligible for a return, the product must be:

  • In its original condition (unworn or unused)
  • With tags still attached
  • In its original packaging
  • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase

Important: Items returned without prior authorisation or not following our return procedure will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

We ask that you inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If any item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please notify us right away so we can address the issue. We will assess the problem and ensure that it is resolved promptly.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned, including:

  • Custom or Personalised Products: Products that have been personalised or customised by our Bespoke Team (e.g., Mother of Pearl Gold and Letter Pendant, custom ring sizes) cannot be returned. However, we offer resizing services if required for bespoke rings.
  • Made-to-Order Products & Return Policy

    Due to the nature of our business as a small, independent atelier, the majority of our jewelry is individually handcrafted and made to order, specifically for each client.

    As such, products that are not marked as “in stock” (and are not found on the IN STOCK page) are considered custom-made or personalized items.

    In accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation, including Directive 2011/83/EU (Article 16(c)), the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalized.

    Therefore, we do not accept returns, cancellations, or exchanges for made-to-order products, except in cases of manufacturing defects.

    By placing an order for a made-to-order item, the client expressly acknowledges and agrees to the loss of the right of withdrawal.

  • Gift Cards and/or products on sale: We do not accept returns for items purchased on sale or for gift cards.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange a product, we recommend returning the unwanted item and placing a new order separately. Exchanges are not processed automatically, and each return and purchase is handled as a separate transaction.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved. If approved, the refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method within 14 business days. Please note that your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund.

If more than 14 business days have passed since your return was approved and you haven’t received your refund, please contact us at contact@miaandstela.com.

Return Shipping Costs

For approved returns, we will provide a return shipping label at no additional cost. If the return is due to a change of mind or incorrect size, the customer shall be responsible for return shipping costs, unless otherwise stated.
